Hi Jamison,

Reading your post there, andI am not sure of the marriage between William Couper b 1794 to Janet McIntosh b 1803, you have date of marriage as 06 Apr 1806, that would make William 12 and Janet 3, so possibly a mistype of date. Could it be 1826 instead?  Where did you get this info, seems so complete for that time. The mis-spelling of Edinburgh makes me suspicious too.

That explains it that then. I thought that you had b 1803 next to Janet, that is why I thought the 1806 date may have been a mis-type. Sorry, I read it differently.

 I like the census results that J11 posted, seems to tie in very nice.

Scotlands People have an 1836 marriage between William Cooper and Janet McIntosh in East Kilpatrick, Dunbartonshire.
