William Main/ Agness Jack, Airdrie

John Main, born 1827, Airdrie, was the son of William Main/ Agness Jack. He married Agnes Moffat 9Aug 1855, New Monkland. They had their children in Torpichen where he worked as a coal miner. I am trying to find the parents of William Main who would have been born about 1800-05. It appears that he died before the 1841 census. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
