John Bishop m. Catherine Shanon & Ann ?

Hello, I am trying to find the place of birth of a Catherine Shanon (born I believe 1814) and married John Bishop in about 1835.  Also the place where Catherine died (maybe South Africa or UK)
Also John had a second wife I believe called Ann (no maiden name)  How can I find her maiden name. I think she was born around 1806.  I have found her living with John in the 1871 census in Burton Bradstock, Dorset.  It seems John was a Chelsea Pensioner.
John was a acting Serg.Major in the 91st Regiment on Foot.
