« on: Friday 02 January 15 05:30 GMT (UK) »
I will be very grateful if anyone able to find a marriage record ca 1864 for Dennis Kirwan and Mary McDonough. also wonder if she died between 1864 and 1871, {she is not on the 1871 census}.
Thanks  Gwen

The RC image is available on Ancestry in Liverpool libraries on the PCs via Digital Library then go into Ancestry. Mary's parents are recorded as 'Michael and Mary' not 'Mary Doyle' the name 'Doyle' is crossed out and 'Michael and' has been added so 'Mary Doyle' must have been a mistake she was a witness not a parent.

Thankyou everyone for your help, much of the info matches, some dates do not, but maybe ages on census are not always spot on.
From what i have gained from this query. Hyperthetically the following maybe my Mary:=

My Mary Lacy, b Ireland 1838 to Roger and Elinor/Ellen,
m1 Edward McDonough 1858 he died 1859, they had a dau Mary Ellen/Ellen b 1859,
m2 Dennis Kirwin 1864, Mary posssibly died in 1867
!871 census Dennis Kirwin and his step dau , Mary Ellen/Ellen were staying with his BIL John Lacey, there is no mention of his wife Mary.

I don'y know who Mary Doyle is as Mary and John Lacy's parents were Roger and Elinor/Helen Lacy.
The up shot of all this is Mary's dau Ellen McDonough came to Australia ca 1871, stayed with her Aunt Jane and later m William Justin - they were my husband's great grand parents. Thanks again everyone, Cheers from Austraila  -40 deg here today a good time to stay inside and do some research.

Dennis Kirwan in 1871 is listed as the unmarried brother in law of John Lacey.

I wonder if he is related to John's wife Margaret and was never married to Mary??   So Mary died as Mary Mcdonough??  Just a thought.
