Sidney Alfred Stevens

Sidney Alfred Stevens (born May 1898, in Malling, Kent, to Alfred and Emily) married Hilda Sybil Warner (born June 1903 in Tilford, Farnham, to James and Eliza) in March qtr. 1923 in Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

They had a son Jack, born on the 1st of Sep 1926 at Blacklake, Lower Bourne, Farnham, Surrey.

Might anyone know if they had any children other than Jack?

Looking at FreeBMD, the following pops up:

March qtr 1923
Farnham district      vol 2a, page 269

Warner, Denis B     Mother's maiden name: Warner

(But re-registered in June qtr 1934)
Surrey South Western district     vol 2a, page 587

Stevens, Denis B     Mother's maiden name: Warner



June qtr 1924
Amersham district     vol 3a, page 1452

Stevens, Audrey     Mother's maiden name: Warner
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

Not sure when it started, but it is possible to re-register an illegitimate child under the father's name, if the parents have married subsequently?!
