Carlton Colville Banns search 1856

I have a problem that needs resolving.  There are banns read in October 1854 (entry no. 176) for a William Stannard and Matilda Amelia Youngman but they do not appear to have married then.  There is also a marriage registration for the same couple in 1856 Jun qtr for the Mutford district (which includes Carlton Colville) but there is no sign of a marriage there.  Could anyone search the banns for me to see if they were read in 1856 as well and another parish mentioned. Please note that Ancestry and Family Search have both mis-transcribed the mans surname as Hannard.

Getting a copy of the marriage cert would tell you where they married.

It may not even have been in a parish church, in which case there would be no banns.

Not all parishes have kept records of banns anyway.

I checked the Carlton Colville banns and could clearly see the entry you mention above.  This couple do not appear in any other banns at CC, particularly not in 1856/57.

Do you have baptisms of their children?
