Thpught I'd list all of the children of Sampson and Louisa that I can find - some we have already mentioned, some from FreeReg (FR), some from FamilySearch (FS). All have mother as Louisa, father is spelt Sampson or Samson.
John Bapt: 21 December 1823 Bath Abbey, Bath (FS)
William Bapt: 18 September 1825 Bath Abbey, Bath (FS, FR)
George, b 22 Oct 1830 Bapt: 14 Nov 1830, Vineyard Chapel, Bath (FS)
Ann Maria, 3 April 1833, bap 7 July 1833. Vineyards Chapel (FS, FR)
There is another baptism for Ann Maria 12 May 1833, on FR at parish church of St Thomas'a'Becket, Widcombe, parents Sampson (occ plasterer) and Louisa, residing at Oak St, Widcombe
Louisa Frances, b 3 September 1835, bap 10 January, 1836, Vineyards Chapel (FR, FS)
Note:
Vineyards Chapel is also known as the Countess of Huntingdon's Chapel (a non-conformist chapel, probably Methodist) in Bath, and the baptisms recorded there also say that the abode of the parents is the Parish of Lyncombe and Widcombe.
I suspect that this may be the birth of the child listed as "John" in the 1841 census:
June qr 1838
Edward John BOLWELL, reg Bath, Vol 11, p7
Re the two children named "John". As it was quite common to use the name of a child who had died for a later child, this may be the reason. There was 15 years between the first John and the second - if, in fact, they are brothers. I can't see a baptism for the child named "John" in the census so perhaps he's only a cousin.
FreeReg also has a baptism which may be Sampson
Church: Walcot - St Swithin
Sampson BOLWELL, bapt: 25 Dec 1798
Parents: David, Frances
(St Swithin's church, Walcot is in Bath)
And there is this death:
Dec qr 1839
Sampson BOLWELL, reg Clifton, Vol 11, p220
However, there are a couple of men of the same name so this may not be Ann's father.
