I know you have searched the archives but just incase....the Christian Brothers archive has a lot of stuff from this period. A lot of it is catalogued but not all of it. The archive was in Rice House but is now possibly in Marino. Brother Allan had a big interest in Irish history, especially 1916, war of independence etc. the amount of stuff donated there is fantastic. A chunk of it went to the National Museum at Collins Barracks. I don't know how they are staffed now but no harm asking.

Other than that have you tried Military Archives in Rathmines? They have some interesting items in their collection. I think I came across a notebook before of women who were caught by the Free State Army carrying weapons etc. It might be worth asking if you haven't tried them.

She is pretty! You never know where stuff will turn up. The Christian Brothers archives is by appointment only and they will bring out what you need if they have it. As I said, still a lot of stuff there to be archived...from the Popes slipper to the false teeth of a man executed to childhood diaries of 1916 men to gaol art, personal photos...

Give them a try..
