Hi Mrs Bongo

Do you have a copy of their death certificates with their actual dates of death?

Whilst death certs don't contain the place of burial or cremation, the dates can be vital if you are approaching the local authority with look-up requests.

The Borough of Poole cemeteries department charges for searches

http://www.poole.gov.uk/communities-and-people/births-deaths-marriages-and-civil-partnerships/deaths/grave-searches/

I had a look to see if either had left a will and there is an entry in 1983 for him and her in 1990.

You can search an apply online here

https://www.gov.uk/search-will-probate

Their wills might state what there wishes were.

Other than that their last known addresses in the probate calendar might suggest which of the 4 cemeteries in the area was nearest
