Hi Anyone,
I am researching a REBECCA ROW.Her marriage was in 1811.She married a JAMES MORGAN in Pembroke Parish Church.She came from the Pembroke area.She is buried in Laugharne Churchyard.
Anyone help me find out more about her, please contact me.She was born about 1787.

Hi their is a baptism of a Rebecca Rowe 14th September 1788 Carew Father Thomas Mother Elizabeth

Number 1333: Rebecca Morgan of Ferry House Buried 17th June 1862 Age 72

At present I only have access to Laugharne Census going back to 1871, but Morgans lived there and next door. Cliffside became known as The Cliff and then because of Dylan Thomas it was renamed Dylan’s Walk.

There were two buildings referred to as Ferry House, one behind The Boathouse, former home of Dylan Thomas, but recently demolished. Before that Ferry House, there was another a little further upriver, perched above the cliff, whose remains are covered in overgrowth. On the opposite side of the river, a bell-house called the ferryman.
