Have you looked them up on the 1851 census to establish his birthyear and birthplace?  His fathers name is shown as Bennett on the marriage info above so did you check Family Search for a baptism?

1851 shows he was aged 30 b Wendron

There is a Bennet TRELOAR/Elizabeth MOYLE Wedding 07 April 1806, St Wendron, Wendron also.

Also Bennet/t Treloar is an incredibly common name in Cornwall.

As John has his Residence as Polgear on Marriage the 1841 Census Suzard found for you seems correct as the abode is Polgear.

If Johns Parents stayed in Polgear this is the 1851 for them;

So much conflicting information. I think I need to find some wills? It is impossible to find who parents are if the share a name with someone else???
