The location is on the North side of New Road, 5 lots West of the Cardigan Road/New Road intersection, right next door to Taunton's College. By chance I saw a photo of Taunton's College and recognized the black barn like structure that is between Taunton's and The Richard Andrews Inn, and Taunton's was easy to find on the 1840 Southampton Map...
