Seeking info on Thomas Francis McCarthy of the Royal Irish Fusiliers

Im looking for any information on Thomas Francis McCarthy b 1848 in Fermoy Ireland D 1912 in Perth Western Australia. He was in the British Army - The Royal Irish Fusiliers for 21 years, spending most of his time in India. He married Sarah McCosh in India and then moved to Australia. He owned and ran the Railway Hotel In Perth  for over 18 years before his death. He was my Great Great Grandfather and I cant find anything in the family line that goes back further than him. His Father may be James McCarthy.

Trove indicates that Thomas Francis McCarthy wifes name was Sarah Elizabeth McCarthy at the time of his death in 1912

Thanks to you both.....Yes Gerald was one of his sons - my Great Great Uncle. And Yes, Sarah Elizabeth was Sarah Elizabeth McCosh before they married in Burma in 1875. Thanks....
