Hoare, Timothy, Ireland to Australia

Trying to establish when and how Timothy Hoare came to Australia. What I know is he was born about 1831 to John & Bridget Hoare in Co Tipperary Ireland and married Catherine Green in Vic, Aust and died in Vic 1897 - death cert says 40 years in Vic. Would like to find ship name and date of arrival. Your help would be appreciated.

When and where in Victoria did this couple marry? I cannot see this marriage on index.

I think if you have a thick, broad Irish accent then Green might be heard as Glen or Glynn; so what should we believe? Death certs, birth registry or other?

Yes, I agree the name is GREEN on the death certificate.

The son of the deceased was the informant- Timothy - and he perhaps did not quite know his mother's maiden name .

I do not believe the name GREEN  would be misheard on 6 separate occasion as GLYNN or GLEN.
