Thomas Davis 59 born Grinshill
Elizabeth Davis  59 born Clive

Children Elizabeth Davis  18 married Samuel Woodvine

Registering my interest here as I am on the hunt for my great great grandfather George Davis born in Madeley Wood about 1834, so any information that helps me to understand (or eliminate) other Shropshire Davis families will be useful.

I think the birth place of Elizabeth above is possibly Edgebolton, Wem, Shropshire as in 1851 their is an unmarried Elizabeth Green aged 32 in the household with a John Green and with grandchildren Henry Green aged 9 Deborah aged 6 and William aged 2

Hi at 69 years of age in 1861 suggest you look for deaths on Freebmd from 1861 to 1871 in Staffordshire and see if one catches your eye, also acceptance of the information supplied on the children found for you would also be appreciated :)
