Alderney is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey - so you need to look there ;D

Civil Registration for marriages began in 1886; if the marriage is before then, you'll need a parish register?

Maybe try the Priaulx Library?

Thanks for the info.
My relative got married 1840-1850, not sure if it was guernsey or alderney as they seemed to
jump from one isla.nd to the other,

How would i  get to view these records.
