Photo / Website Location Help!
« on: Monday 26 January 15 21:58 GMT (UK) »
Hello,

This might seem a little random but im trying to locate a website i saw this photograph on a long time ago as i have made notes about the family in the picture but as i cant remember i would like to confirm this by viewing the website again.
The website was about the village of Llanwyydn in Wales. The website was about the complete history about the village and the fact it was private to workers only?
I have gone through google images and found nothing :(

Just wondered if anyone could help?

Thanks in advance. x

Powys site refers to     peoplescollectionwales.co.uk        search for Llanwddyn   and several images appear. Googling the name gives a number of sites about the village which was flooded to form Lake Vyrnwy apparently.  Very interesting!

There's a 30 page booklet called 'The Policeman's story - Special Constable David Jones' reminiscences about Old Llanwddyn and the construction of Lake Vrynwy' with similar photographs 'Printed by WPG Ltd, Welshpool' published by 'St. Wddyn's Parochial Church Council'. I bought one from the tourist/gift shops near the dam.
