There is a family in Birmingham that have parents William (38) a groom and Ellen (32)
Polly (13), Ellen Rose (11), Willie (9), Nelly (7) and Fanny (3)
at 27 Golden Court, Bull Ring

Possibly I only have the 4 names that had children so unless the other people mention died without issue I cannot fit them into the family, also is Nellie short for something.

Nellie is usually short for Ellen/Eleanor or variants

I would suggest that you look at the four people you have
As you mention their children, locate a marriage certificate which will give a father's name
This will help pinpoint the family

1911 shows a family with the same names also in Birmingham at Lwr Essex St
parents with 3 of the children

1891 shows the parents William (29) and Ellen (24) with Mary (3) and Rose (1)

Polly could have been a pet name for Alice Mary Anne

You will still need collaborating evidence to help you out and a marriage certificate for one of the women would be a good place to start
