William George redgewell, Essex
« on: Wednesday 28 January 15 16:02 GMT (UK) »
I have a redgewell family tree, the ancestor I have got back to is George William redgewell born 1884 Asheldham, Essex, this I have confirmed, it's his father that is a problem to find a birth.
On the 1891 and later census it confirms George William and his 2 brothers and 3 sisters Which I know is all ok.
1891 Census has the father as William George born 1861 Southminster and mother as Happy Emma Harvey born Southminster, in later census mother is down as Emma. They Married 1883 Malden.
But I can't find a birth for the father William George only a "George William 1863 Hedingham Sible
Son of Charles Redgewell & Sarah Tyrrel."
Any help in solving this problem would be appreciated.
