Marriage of John Findlay ROBERTSON and Jane Ann LEASK

Hi,

This couple were married 1914 at St. Nicholas, Aberdeen. The parents of John F. ROBERTSON were Daniel McLeod ROBERTSON and Ann Grant EDMONSTON.  The parents of Jane Ann were William LEASK and Magdalene Fraser ABEL.
Does anyone know this family and if John Findlay ROBERTSON and Jane Ann had any children?

Hi, have you searched for their death certificates? There's a chance the informants may be their offspring. A death notice & acknowledgement in the local newspaper may give a clue to their immediate family. If you find a headstone it may also name children. Please remember that some of their family may still be alive & therefore we've to be careful not to post any personal details (as per Rootschat's policy on discussing living people.)

Thanks for the reply flist, but the Image on ScotlandsPeople is not available as he (John Findlay ROBERTSON) died in 1966 and Jane Ann died 1974.
I will try and access the newspapers in the hope I may find something. Lets hope FindMyPast has newspapers in their collection.

Sadly, I do not think you will find relevant newspaper collections for the area in the 1960/70s on FindMyPast  :-\

Not much detail here...but a start:

Cathleen Robertson
Cathleen Robertson was born to John Findlay Robertson Robertson and Jane Anne Leask Robertson.
Cathleen had 6 siblings: Robert Robertson, George Robertson and 4 other siblings.
Cathleen married .
They had 2 children.
Cathleen passed away.
