Hello Mr. Jones,

A long shot maybe-is there any reference to other Davies' from Aberarth as I'm looking for a Timothy Davies [b.1790] in nearby Cilcennin/Llanfihangel Ystrad and more especially his Father -Simon Davies/David who I believe was from Aberarth. Would be grateful for any assistance.

Sorry Dafydd, I do not have any past information about Cpt Davies or his family from the Aberaeron area. I just have his later connection with the Denbighshire family that he married into.

Thank you for this,it could turn out to be very interesting as there are other graves in Cilcennin which we believe are connected to Timothy Davies,in some records he is said to be born in Cilcennin,in others Llanfihangel Ystrad,the dates and information on the gravestone tally,and we're not sure of his exact whereabouts at this date,so this might be significant news.
