Yes, I did!!
Jun 1847 St George Hanover Square 1 40
They had a son William James baptised in Stepney in 1849, but he must have died - not on censuses. They moved around a bit 1851 presumably (as in 1850 will) Limehouse, 1861 Brighton, 1871 not found, 1881, 1891 Westbury on Trym, no children, both died in 1890s.
I also worked out the name of the legatee in James' will - it's Richard
Ansell Hayter. Where is he on the censuses?
EDIT : see next reply! - he appears to be in New Zealand.
So I surmise [no proof] Richard & Sarah's children were:
James Samuel
Henrietta Sarah
Hannah Ellen
Richard Ansell
maybe a George [see reply #4]
possibly Catherine [where is she on the 1851 census?] This is probably her marriage
Marriages Mar 1853
DERIAZ Jaques Alphonse St Geo. H S. 1a 289
HAYTER Catherine St Geo H S 1a 289
RELLER Henrietta St Geo H S. 1a 289
TURBERVILLE William St Geo. H. Sq. 1a 289
The certificate would confirm her father....bit short of funds right now...
A 23 yr old niece Kate Turberville is living with John & Hannah Smart in 1881 so Catherine must have married William Turberville. In 1861 Catherine shows as age 41 born Sunninghill [Sunny Hill on ancestry]. Their son aged 6 was born in Ireland - I can't keep up with this family, they travelled so much
William was a licensed victualler.
I'd love to find the 1851 census for 15 Mercers Terrace, Salmon Lane, Limehouse!!
I did find a James Hayter aged 20 born Ireland with a Tucker family in Hampstead HO107/674/9/11.
