« on: Monday 02 February 15 09:31 GMT (UK) »
Could or would some kind soul please check out my LEGGO family please in the above census.

In the 1881 census I have Maddern LEGGO and his wife Charlotte R and their children at Carnyorth St Just in Penwith.

Many thanks in advance.

Thank you KGarrard for your prompt response, appreciated.
Obviously Maddern did not die in NSW as I do not see a record in NSW BDM.
I am now trying to narrow down when they came to Australia which now appears to be some time between 1881 and 1891.
Many thanks once again.

Those trees that mention a place of death say Fitzroy, Victoria?

Just adding this as a curiosity?!
Report from The Cornishman, 1888.
Death of Maddern Leggo (29), Miner in the Kimberley Diamond Mine Disaster, South Africa.

Which states that Maddern Leggo left a wife and 1 child, and was the son of Grace Leggo.
So probably not your chap.
