Look up request, 1841 census Lancashire

Hi My great grandmother, Elizabeth Roberts, was born in Liverpool in 1834 and her brother Thomas was born in 1831, same place. Their mother died before 1841 and the children disappeared for many years. Thomas appeared on the 1851 census, living with his aunt, and Elizabeth was married in Australia in the 1850's and nothing is known about when or how she got to Australia. I have found an 1841 census item for a Thomas Roberts, 8 and an Elizabeth, 7, living in Deansgate, Manchester, piece 569, book 11, Folio 6, page number 6, with no other names. When I view the original, these two are living with a family, Thomas, Elizabeth (parents) Thomas and John (children) but I can't read the surname or the occupation. Could somebody please look at the original for me and tell me what i am missing. Thank you

I think both occupations are dyers and it looks like Thomas (one of the parents) was born in Ireland or possibly Scotland.   I can't read the surname, but it begins with B

Clicking on "View others on page" shows the surname has been transcribed as Buan

I don't beleive it would be Buan, possibly Burn, but that doesn't appear relevant. 'Dyer' I can see. I would have thought that the parents would be Welsh

The mother, Caroline Roberts, nee Foster, died in December 1835, before Elizabeth was 2. She was buried in Liverpool I believe (no information in front of me). Father was Thomas Roberts, born 1811 in Wales, probably Ruthin, Denbighshire, Wales where his sister, Jane Parry, was born. Jane and her husband looked after Thomas junior according to the 1841 census but Elizabeth and her father disappeared until Elizabeth married in Australia in the 1850's. I don't know when or where she arrived in Australia as the shipping records didn't commence until 1852 and she is not on the later records Thomas senior was visiting his son in the 1841 census but then disappeared. Any help greatfully appreciated

It won't help find Elizabeth but Caroline's burial took place .....
11 Dec 1835 at the Necropolis Burial Ground for all denominations, Everton.
Her last address was Weight St she was 28 and the cause of death was given as Dropsy.

I can see Thomas with the Parrys in 1851 but not 1841 , although that census is quite faded.
Do you have the 1841 details, Jason?
