Charles Ellis was born abt 1828 at lynn Norfolk, he married an Elizabeth A no surname. I found the family in 1871 at st Leonard Shoreditch London.I cannot find him in any census before this. If any body could try and find him I would be very grateful and also his marriage I have no idea where this could be

He is difficult to find pre 1861 and is a bit of a mystery.

1861 - John, 25 yrs, Chemist - born 1836 Not Known
1871 - Charles 43 yrs, Waiter - born 1828, Lynn, Norfolk

Children's baptisms as posted by avm228 - he is a Carpenter

I can't spot a death for him in Shoreditch district 1871-1881. Do you have that? I wondered about his age.
