Brunner ex Switzerland and Rhodesia

I am trying to find information on:

Elsa Winifriede Brunner
Born 18 Jun 1918 in Zurich, Switzerland (details may not be correct)
Died about 1970 in Rhodesia

Two brothers:
Frederick Brunner
Walter Brunner

Elsa's mother was known as "Mali" - may have been a nickname.

Married in Rhodesia sometime between 1945 and 1955 to Cecil John Beatty (1905 – 1993)

I have been through the familysearch death index, but she is not listed there, so probably died after 1976 as the records only go that far.  Neither of her brothers are listed there either.  I also checked the tombstones in Zimbabwe which have been photographed by no luck there either!

Did find a request for someone looking for a Jon/John Beatty, son of Cecil.  I will forward the information in a pm.

You can try this link and post your question on the website http://www.lind.org.zw I traced some relatives from Rhodesia on here. Took me 18 months but had success at the end.

I also had a look at http://www.identitynumber.org/ and came up with multiple BRUNNER surnames

I had previously looked at the Zim Death register Index. The rumour is that Elsa passed away in Salisbury so the next step is for me to navigate through the 1000+ Death Notices for 1970 to see if I get any "HITS"
