Hi again Mike, what a difference in lifestyles for poor Benjamin, his sisters marrying Bank Manager's/Manager's of Iron Works and he is on the 1871 RG10/3812/47/33 aged 29 Lodger occ Brewer unemployed b Meascham?, Denbighshire residing at Haddon Street, West Derby, he disappears for 2 census returns ( possibly now a sailor) as in 1901 on RG13/3472/231/2 he is in a Workhouse in Kirkdale, and from the 1911 index still there.

He possibly dies in the same place, as their is a death of a Benjamin Barlow b abt 1842 March qtr 1916 West Derby 8b 615 aged 74

Hi keyboard,  No pot of gold here then!!  I noticed on the census 1911 all the names listed and I wondered what was going on.  I still cannot find much info re Trevor Barlow the youngest.  Thank you for your help!  Incidentally, James is my great grand uncle on my Mother's side.  There are many Barlow's around Wrexham which makes research difficult for a beginner!! especially with all the missing records.

Mike.
