F/Sgt William Henry Cook from Moose Jaw,Saskatchewan
« on: Sunday 08 February 15 12:19 GMT (UK) »
Looking for help to tracking down the relatives of F/Sgt William Henry Cook, of Moose jaw, saskatchewan.  F/Sgt Cook was the Midupper gunner of a 550 sqdn Lancaster PD221 shotdown 3 February 1945 near the Dutch village Westerbeek. We are in touch with almost all the relatives of this aircraft except relatives of  F/Sgt W.H.Cook. He was the son of Ernest G, and Mary Louisa Cook of Moose Jaw, saskatchewan. It's 70 years ago since the fatal crash occured. Can some one help to track down his relatives or put me on the right track??  I know well the regulations of living people but if some one have addresses please PM me.

Thank you so much,
Adrian

Canada Voters List 1940 shows Ernest G Cook (salesman)  Mrs Ernest G Cook, Ronald Cook (Clerk) at 1037 Clifton Avenue. Moose Jaw.
Also at that address but possibly not connected were :- Miss Mabel Bryce (reporter) Miss Mary Mitchell (stenographer) Miss Dorothy Renton (book-keeper)

Canada Voters List 1949 only shows Ernest and Mary Louise at that same address.

Ronald and wife Hazel could have divorced - according to the Detroit Border Crossing for Hazel Elizabeth (nee Whitehead) Cook - Hazel was born 24 December 1923.
There is a death record for Hazel Cook - 24 December 1923 died 14 November 1976 - Palm Beach Florida.

Marriage of Ronald George Cook (now deceased) 30 December 1977 - Lake Ohio.
Believe the lady he married is still living - will pm info. (pm sent)

Mary Louise (nee Davidson) Cook died 1955 and Ernest George Cook 1961.  Ernest had a brother Ronald Phillip Cook who died in Moose Jaw 1939 - no children.
Mary L Davidson is on the 1911 census of Canada in the home of her married sister Ella.

Harry Broadie  41 Ella Broadie  38
Stuart Broadie  1
Mary L Davidson  30
Ruby Bell  16

Stuart Davidson Broadie died 1976 Moose Jaw. Saskatchewan.

Canada Voters List 1972 showed Stuart Broadie (druggist) and Lila Broadie . 1150 Thirteenth Avenue. Saskatchewan.

Haven't found any children so far for this couple.
