Still looking at the Davidson family for links to relatives.  One to discount -
Robert Llewellyan Davidson - brother of Mary Louise (nee Davidson) Cook died 6th June 1906 -  Robert was single  :'(

Just leaves brother Albert Alexander born 1877 - haven't come across him after 1901 so far.

Hi Adrian,

I realize this is an old string, but I just became aware of it.  William Henry Cook was my great uncle and I have various photos and documents regarding him and his service in WWII, including his flight log book, a few medals he was awarded posthumously (I assume), as well as an airmail letter that the wife of the captain of his plane wrote to my great grandmother.

Please let me know how I can be of assistance to you and your research.

Regards,
Victoria

Welcome to RootsChat Victoria.

Adrian just wondered - Did the PM go thru ?  Usually new posters need to make 2 posts before the pm system works and they can receive messages???
