1950's Toronto
« on: Sunday 08 February 15 19:43 GMT (UK) »
I know this is a long shot but looking for a marriage for a Frank Churchill Hazeldine born 1939 (deceased) married at a very young age of 15 or 16 years of age to a Patricia (Unknown) in around 1954 in Toronto. They had two sons very shortly after marriage born in toronto we believe. I have the names of the two boys but can not post their names on site as they may still be living. Patricia remarried and the boys took the new fathers name. What we are looking for is a marriage date for Frank and Patricia and her original maiden name.We do not know if she is still living or has passed.
Any thing to start the search back would be of help.

Thanks

There are no BMD Indexes in Canada. As a guide BMD Records are only available for births more than a 100 years ago, marriages 85 years ago (They are up to about 1929 at the moment) and deaths 70 years ago.

You will not be able to see an index or order a certificate for such a recent marriage.

Frank C Hazeldine, D 21/4/1972 San Diego B 1/1/39 Canada in California Death Index

Take it this is he?

This post is a natural hand made product. The slight variations in spelling and grammar enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws. Unfortunately my preferred method of writing (Parker Quink on Basildon Bond) cannot be used.

Yes, that is the Frank we are in peruse of. He was married it is believed 5 times. The first being Patricia that I mentioned earlier and there is belief he married a second time before he married his third wife (Sandra) and then married two more times afterwards Rena and Susan.
Thanks

I hired a researcher who was able to find a marriage cert for me in Toronto for 1950. The process wasn't particularly cheap, but was usefully revealing!
