Unwanted Marriage Certificate: George WESTBURY and Eliza BUSBEY
« on: Sunday 08 February 15 19:57 GMT (UK) »
I have the unwanted marriage certificate for GEORGE WESTBURY and ELIZA BUSBEY.  The marriage took place on 15 May 1842.  The place name on the certificate looks like Shipton, but GRO lists it as Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

GEORGE was of full age, a bachelor who worked as a labourer.  He lived at Leafield.  His father was JOHN WESTBURY who worked as a labourer.

ELIZA was of full age, and a spinster.  Her occupation is difficult to read, but it looks to be something to do with gloves.  She lived at Leafield.  Her father was JOHN BUSBEY who worked as a labourer.

If this certificate is of any interest to you, please contact me.
