« on: Thursday 12 February 15 02:31 GMT (UK) »
Just wondering if anyone has a Anne Addy or Addie married to a Francis Depledge in their tree. I have their marriage, but iam after a family tree on Ann Addy or Addie.
I have no idea in what year she was born,i only know she was born in Darton.

Thanks Vicki

If you had that information you didn't post it -you stated you did not know when Ann was born???

Have you verified the information on the tree?

Where did you find the information that she was b Darton?
If the y.o.b. is correct then that would make Ann c. 28 when she married Francis - which is quite late for that period of time

I wondered if maybe this was her 2nd marriage??

There is this marriage
Darfield Yks
Richard Addy Anne Dacres
13 April 1657
may be worth checking out???

The only baptism I can find of Ann Addy in Darton is 27 Dec 1710 father Thomas
and this is fat too late

It certainly could be that Anne was the widow of Richard ADY buried at Darfield 19 Dec 1672.
There is a burial for a Thomas ADDY "son=in-law" (sic step-son) os Frances DEPLIDGE of Ardsley at Darfield on 17 Oct 1860.
There is a baptism of a Thomas Addy son of Richard of Ardsley in 1660 at Darfield.
cheers,
