brilliant thanks for letting me know I cant wait till they release Bristol records online, I wonder when thatll be, do you know if there are little Compton records on the new Gloucestershire records please? thankyou

Little Compton was transferred to Warwickshire in 1844?!

SoG has the Parish Registers under Warwickshire.

If you have a look at this link - http://www.rootschat.com/links/01ex1/ - its Gloucestershire Archives holdings for parishes starting with the letter L (see page 29).  It states, as KG has indicated, that Little Compton is now part of Warwickshire but says the parish transferred to the Diocese of Oxford in 1919 and the parish records are held at Oxfordshire Records Office.  Oxfordshire parish registers have been digitised by funding from the Oxfordshire Family History Society but, as stated on another recent post on RC, they are unlikely to appear online for another two years. :-\

Bristol has its own Archives which holds the parish records for the city and a number of the surrounding parishes, so will not be part of the Gloucestershire digitisation project.
