William Layman b.1813 - at sea - Devon.  According to various census.  Any ideas?  Was there a hospital ship moored off shore at this time?

No I haven't.  He was married to Ann? b.1833 Llandilo Carmarthenshire.  I have found a marriage between a William Lemon and Anne Perkins 1856 Cardiff but that is as near as I have got.
