Hi Chezzz

Any idea of Elizabeth's maiden name?

There is a William living with a RICHARDS family, brother in law.  There is no Elizabeth in the house though (or any other Allingham), but there is a Daisy!

What was William's occupation?

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)

Actually it seems pretty unlikely as it says he is single.

Ah, sorry to confuse you - the Daisy I found is older and would be William's generation.

File under maybe...

I can understand your problem though - there are not many names you can confuse Allingham with, are there?

I would be tempted to send for the certificate for your Daisy's birth to get Elizabeth's maiden name and william's occupation.

Wareham Dec q 1901 5 a 278

There is a possible marriage, but it is in Jun q 1891 and the bride is Eliza Jane GOODWIN or Louisa Ann COX, ref 5a 516.
