William Martin Gray - 1844 Teignmouth
« on: Sunday 15 February 15 22:19 GMT (UK) »
William Martin Gray was born in 1844 in East Teignmouth, according to 1851 to 1881 censuses.

He is not with his parents in 1851, and living in Broadwell, Oxfordshire along with some other Gray children.
There is nothing to indicate if they are siblings! ::)

Does anyone have access to the East Teignmouth Parish Registers?
I would like to know who his parents are.

This can be linked to a posting regarding Emily GRAY, who is a sibling.
She married in 1873 in london to William SPINKS.
Research suggests the family of children identified in 1851 without parents had mother Mary still alive but in an asylum, and father Martin yet to be identified beyond the birth of daughter Hannah in approx 1848.

John Mark Gray is his brother. Their mother is Mary Fowler who married Martin Gray in 1834 at Broadwell in Oxfordshire. She died in 1892 in Littlemore Lunatic Asylum. I am trying to trace Martin's whereabouts after 1848
