Ann KING married Uppingham 1839
« on: Tuesday 17 February 15 16:35 GMT (UK) »
I am trying to find the parents of Ann King.  She married a Joseph Hudson 1839 in Uppingham.  I have the marriage certificate which shows her father as SOLOMON KING  and a witness as SUSANNAH KING which I presume is her mother.   I have found a Solomon married to Elizabeth, but can't find a Susannah. 1841C Ann was in Uppingham and after that Stamford.
Any suggestions would be very helpful

Hi,

There is a baptism for an Ann King, daughter of Solomon and Elizabeth at St. George, Stamford, Lincoln on 31st December 1818.  Could that be your Ann?

Could Susannah be a sister, cousin, aunt, sister-in-law?

Worth considering for Susanna

There is a Dalby Plouwright who may have married a Susanna King in Sept qtr 1847 Oakham reg dist.

In 1851 they could be in Stamford, Lincolnshire
H0107/2094 f289 p6
Dalby age 35 bn Stamford
Susanna age 34 bn Uppingham
Frederick 15 bn Stamford

In 1841 Dalby was in prison - it looks as though Frederick could be the illegitimate son of Susanna
