thanks for trying anyway.apparently its been a brick wall for him for ages.i might put my long lasting brick wall up here in a minute.see if any thing further has turned up.i came off ancestry last month and i am trying £1 pound month trial on FindMyPast but i cant get on with it at all so it will be back to ancestry next month.

we now think his mum was patience penfold born 1868.it is albert james turner aka levi(the name he was buried under levi turner)father robert turner.but his mum may have been different as we now think he had two wives possibly at the same time.that is his dad robert had two wives!!!
