Matthew English was buried in the parish of Wallsend in 1756.  Can anyone tell me which cemetery this might have been?

Thank you!
Foffie

Probably Holy Cross?
That seems to be the only burial records for your date?

St Peter was built in 1809 to replace Holy Cross.

Hello Foffie,

I checked my National Burials Index, Third Edition CD for any "English" buried in County Durham 1756 + or - 10 years and got no hits for you.

Ditto for "Inglis".

Cheers,
Westoe

Thanks, Westoe.  Does anything come up for Matthew English buried in Northumberland?

Hello Foffie,

Repeated both searches as above for all of England and Wales. The only hits: 3 in Suffolk with "English" as a forename, 1 in Bedfordshire with "Inglis" as a forename.

Cheers,
Westoe
