Hi Dee, FreeBMD has a birth reg of a Louisa Dayus, Dec Q 1868, Tenbury, Worcs, 6c 253

Hmmm, just noticed the Louisa in the 1871 census was listed as born 1864   :-\

Spooner - Monmouthshire & Wolverhampton.
Warner & Loundes - Dudley/West Bromwich.
Dod(g)son - Heysham/Liverpool/Wolverhampton

Interesting Family Search gives two possible marriages for Richard in 1860.  The second in Claines is  covered in FreeBMD by the Droitwich Reg Dist

Richard Dayns to Mary Ann Poole 20 Nov 1860 at Saint Martin,Worcester
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NVTF-WXZ

Richard Dayus to Mary Jones 30 Sept 1860  at Claines,Worcester

Hello Kay... The Richard I'm looking for is the one who married Mary Jones. This is the one that's mine .. her sister was  Anne Jones my direct family.. The children of Richard and Mary are Alice and Louisa...and Richard. On the census Richard is listed as a Shoemaker. From some of the records the other Richard who married Mary Ann was a Coal merchant. It's getting a bit complicated what with the dates so near... I think a lot more care has to be taken before I can say who's who for certain. I've always called this my two ( F ) project Fascinating and Frustrating..and this is certainly proving it  Thanks for your help  Dee

Hi
Just had time to check the marriage of Richard Dayus to Mary Jones at Claines on 30 September 1860.

Richard Dayus aged 23 a cordwainer* of Britannia Road. Father Richard Dayus a Coal Merchant
Mary Jones aged 21 - no occupation - of Britannia Road. Father Edmund Jones a Butler. (at a push could be Edward, but if so "a" not written like "a" in Dayus.)

Witnesses J Williams and Mary Wilkes.

Hello Eastbury.. It is  a few weeks since I emailed you re- Richard Dayus and Mary Jones marriage ...married 30 September 1860. in Claines Worcestershire. For that I wish to thank you. For the information you sent...I requested from the GRO in London a marriage certificate ...On Thursday I received an email back saying  they were unable to find an entry and unable to  process the application .. returned my monies back into my bank account... My query is now since you were able to find the request should they have been able to find it also and send me a certificate. If I've applied to the wrong people could you advise me which is the correct way to request the certificate.
