Fraser and Finlayson
« on: Sunday 22 February 15 23:08 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Can anyone help with some information on William Fraser 1773 - ? from Ross and Cromarty, and his wife Euphemia Finlayson 1773 - ? from Latheron, I think that is where they are from, and their parents who I don't know.
Thank you
Stephen

There is a Wm Fraser and Euphemia Finlason marriage 24 September 1802, Wick, Caithness, on Familysearch which could be them. There is a bit more detail on Freereg but seemingly no parents' names, only witnesses (Donald Gordon and Peter McCraw). William's residence is Harland (near the town of Wick) and Euphemia's is Staxigeo (a former fishing village east of Wick). If you look it up on ScotlandsPeople you will get the full record.  Several baptisms to them in Wick too - may give clues about their parents' names.

Perhaps you have that information already though? May be worth asking moderator to move thread to Caithness board.
