Daisy Jacobs - A Mystery

Afternoon

There is a Margaret M Jacobs who was registered in the Sheppey district in 1941 as marrying Cyril Cackett, but I believe this lady to be the Margaret M Jacobs whose birth was registered in 1918 also at Sheppey. Her death entry in 1999 seems to confirm this.

So at present it appears my Daisy did not die in infancy nor does she appear to have married. There are no wedding photos from the other sibilings with her in that I am aware of, nor does anyone in the family recognise her name or recount any stories about a missing sister. There also doesn't appear to be any evidence that she emigrated.

What other avenues can I investigate to find out what happened to her? Would my earlier suggestion of a disabled daughter given up for adoption make any sense? If so where could I start investigating this theory?
