Fearns of Tannadice
« on: Tuesday 24 February 15 14:11 GMT (UK) »
Hi Everyone,
Still freezing here so no gardening yet :(  Decided to make a start on my Fearns.  I've just spent a couple of days trying to piece together the Fearn's of Tannadice. Now that I've written it out it all looks so straightforward  ::) - I've attached as a pdf.
I'm really trying to find the parents of my James Fearn who married Ann Gall (I've started this new thread rather than add to to my recent rant about census transcriptions).

Please could someone have a look at the families and see if my 'evidence' is strong enough to assert that James and Margaret look more like probable parents rather that William and Jean for the James who married Ann Gall.  You will see from An*try the rest of the planet would appear to be at odds with me!

Part two to follow - I now have James and Ann Gall's children almost sorted.  I'll add that as an attachment later to show none of them died in Pennsylvania, Tasmania or Australia - perhaps someone will find it of use.
Part two is now attached - my rough notes for James and Ann's children. Discussion of problems with this family back at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=713588.0
Thanks
Jen
