so far i have richard taylor born 1807 in devon son george taylor born 1825 in devon married mary seldon in 1848.
next generation is frederick born gloucester in 1850.he had a son joseph born 1879 in liverpool and then he had a son born in liverpool..joseph 1904.now a friend is asking me are these circus folki?apparently it is said in the family that they worked for coco the clown but as he was born 1900 i dont think this can be right at all.so just wondering if anyone has knowledge of them being attached to a circus?

What are their occupations on the various censuses?

aw thanks.i am asking my friend if she has them in any cencuses and what occupations they had.i think she wants to find some gypsy heritage but i dont think she will!!!!i am off ancestry for a month and trying FindMyPast but cant get on with it so will go back to ancestry next month.she seemed to think they were something to do with circuses but i dont think so.

It wouldn't appear to be the case given the 1861 occupation unless it changed dramatically in later generations
