Wonderful photo.  The photo I posted a link to is of George Masters at High Street Chard where he was living in 1901/11 when James P appears to have moved to the Channel Islands.  I wonder if the photo you have is the family in 1891 when they were all living at Holyrood St Chard??

Awwww awesome Kay, We are definitely talking about the same family, as James P MASTERS lived i Gurnesey and my great grandfather left Guernsey to come to NZ with his new wife......

Holyrood St, Chard still exists.   Have a look at Street view of it on Google maps

Edit I can't see the Channel Islands having that much snow ;D

Yes, you are right. Originally I was told it was taken in Geurnsey, but it looks like it was England somewhere, not entirely sure where thou :)
