What further info are you looking for?

Do you have the marriage record from Scotlandspeople?

Any baptism records for children born in Scotland?

Unfortunately, no. The only information I have is US census information, where I could find it. I have a bit more information on John and his father (John, my grandfather) since they were born in Ohio, but as a whole, information on the Hogg/Hogue family is hard to come by. Thank you.

The marriage record is available on Scotlandspeople

As it is an Old Parish Record there is no way of knowing the level of info it contains without viewing it. It may just be their names but it may state his occupation and where he was from

Thank you very much for the Scotlandspeople website! That is a big help. Yesterday was my first day researching beyond ancestry.com and I have found this site to be extremely helpful in research. Thanks to all! I hope to find more information about the Hogg / Hogue family.

Yesterday was my first day researching beyond ancestry.com and I have found this site to be extremely helpful in research.

Bear in mind that ancestry.com has none of the main original birth, baptism, marriage, death, burial or census information from Scotland. It cannot be used as an alternative to Scotland's People.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

If you haven't seen it already, www.familysearch.org has many free records, including John F. Hogue's death certificate and a death record for James Hogue.  The Columbus library also has John on the obituary index - http://www.columbuslibrary.org/cmlcnix/searchobitform.cfm
