Thank you for the link :) while I'm waiting for it to arrive, it said around 15 days, is that right because I wasn't sure if I was typing it all in correctly? Is there anyway I can find out if there was any other louisa simmons born in Gt Yarmouth, maybe a little earlier like 1887? Where do you find these records?

Hello again,

It's taken me a while, but I've finally purchased Louisa and George's marriage certificate and it's arrived today :)

It has Louisa's fathers name as James Thomas Simmons. I'm wondering if this could be the Thomas Simmons that some of you have mentioned earlier? How would I find out if James Thomas Simmons sometimes went by the name Thomas Simmons or if in fact it's a different person entirely?

I hope somebody reads this :)
