101 and 107 are both occupied by families in 1881 so perhaps it is just unfortunate that they are unoccupied in 1891.

How strange ....maybe they gave the shop address at school enrolment .!

Or it became as residential house at the end of the year
Was it back to residential in 1901

Thanks Heywood .   I would like to learn how to look up streets to save asking each time

Sadly, I haven't got an easy way of doing it. I think some sites can be searched by address.

Just been looking at Manchester proboards. Found an old post that had found a 1891 census with
w.goldstein and family from Germany living at
101 Bury new road ......Salford !

I don't know if that is the same as the Goldstone's you found in 1901 at 101 bury new road Manchester

Mmm interesting I will see if I can find any correlations on censuses tomorro at library

I  found another school registration ..this time for Golda Fellman father Sam
the year is 1893and address given as 7 Bury new Road

Correction year is 1898 right hand column 1893 was her birth year

So that still fits in with her father trading from 3 nightingale St in 1893 and enrolment of 2 elder siblings from that address

There was A plumber at number 5

Both families had a servant which surprised me .

As you can see I found a way to see orig images from house addresses.i. m having a trial of  find my past
