Unable to locate in Census

Hi all, i'm on the trail of my x3rd great grandfather Charles Beazley, according to the 1871 census he was born in Harnhill, Gloucestershire. In 1871 he is living with wife Mary Ann and children including my x3rd great grandmother Clara Beazley. The family are living in Cricklade, Wiltshire.
Charles was born in 1842 according to 1871 census.

In 1881 Mary Ann is living with children but no signs of Charles even though she is listed as married! furthermore i cannot find any signs of Charles in any earlier census records.

There is a marriage that seems to fit in 1862 in the district of Cricklade between Charles Griffin Beazley and Mary Ann Curtis.

I hope someone can help

I think that you may need the marriage certificate. 

I am wondering whether he was born Charles Griffin and his mother married a Beasley
