Here's George's baptism details

1853 01 30 at ELKESLEY St Giles; George son of Thomas SISSONS labourer and Catherine      (one of 9 children baptised to this couple)

and this may well be his parents' marriage

1836 11 08   Thomas   SISSONS   and    Catherine   BALL    at ELKESLEY St Giles

But there are no suitable deaths for George on the CDs.

Hi Sorry if I came across a bit off earlier.

I think there is one cert that may solve a lot of the unknown all in one go - that of the marriage of Lucy Sissons to Henry Jarvis. It will confirm if she has been married before, and if her father was a Sissons, or a Fenwick (or something else!). If she is a spinster with father called Sissons, then the Sissons/Fenwick marriage is a red herring and following George Sissons a complete waste of time. If however she was a widow with a father Fenwick, then it confirms you are on the right track, and thus looking for George's death becomes relevant and important.
£9-25 would mean you knew one way or the other.

I agree there's no point looking for more detail about this George Sissons unless/until you have documentary proof that he is your man.

If/when this arrives and shows that he is indeed the right person, I'm happy to help with more info if I can.
